Hey, I’m Tamiya—your photographer, planner, creative partner, and detail-obsessed weirdo (the good kind). I’m originally from Maine—the state nobody remembers until fall hits—but these days, you’ll find me soaking up life in San Francisco.
Photography has taken me to 9 countries, 20+ states, and straight into the stories of some of the most incredible humans. From quiet vows at City Hall to bold personal brand shoots, I’m all in on capturing whatever makes you feel like you.
Outside of work, you’ll find me hanging with my cats, jamming on my drum set, planning my next trip, or diving headfirst into a new creative pursuit (stock trading has been the latest rabbit hole). I believe that curiosity keeps things interesting—and that the best photos happen when you're fully yourself.

From Welding Helmets to Wedding Days
I didn’t grow up dreaming about owning a photography business.
I was a welder, a traveler, a lover of good stories and even better craft beer. But what stayed consistent? My curiosity. The way I light up when I see other people happy. And the urge to create something cathartic—something that feels like home, even if you’re miles from it.
That’s what led me here—using photography to help people slow down, ditch the pressure, and be present. From running shoots in 9 countries to navigating last-minute wedding pivots, I’ve learned how to blend creativity and calm to make your experience seamless, grounded, and personal.

Once rented a car just to drive my couple around SF because they flew in from Germany without one.
I’m adventurous, but not in the “let’s hike 10 miles” kind of way—think scooters in Thailand or zip-lining in Mexico.
My editing style? Natural, honest, with just a little sweet sauce.
